16 Jun Technical visit of TCKI to Verdés and nearby ceramic plants
A meeting to strengthen collaboration and knowledge exchange in the ceramic industry
In June 2025, Verdés had the pleasure of organizing and accompanying the TCKI (Technisch Centrum voor de Keramische Industrie) team on a technical visit to some of the most representative ceramic plants in our area. This institution, which brings together clients and representatives from ceramic companies in the Netherlands and Belgium, is an international benchmark in research, technical consulting, and process development for the ceramic industry.
During the visit, the group toured the facilities of Cerámica La Coma, Cerámica Cumella, and Ecocerámica Piera, where they were warmly welcomed. In each plant, participants were able to walk through the production lines, learn in detail about the preparation and extrusion systems, and observe how these companies have evolved their processes over time, integrating new practices and technologies to maintain competitiveness and quality in today’s ceramic market.
The TCKI team also visited Verdés’ facilities in Vilanova del Camí, where they had the opportunity to see firsthand our design and manufacturing processes. The visit showcased the latest technological innovations that Verdés is implementing in the fields of grinding, mixing, extrusion, and industrial digitalization, reaffirming our commitment to excellence.
Throughout the day, there were highly valuable exchanges of knowledge and perspectives in an atmosphere of collaboration and openness.
